A Huntingdon Valley company's lawsuit against superstar recording artist Prince can proceed, a New York Supreme Court judge has ruled.
Revelations Perfume & Cosmetics sued Prince last year, claiming the singer failed to promote a perfume Revelations had developed in conjunction with his 2006 album. The company said it spend $2.5 million developing and marketing 3121, but it tanked when Prince refused to make appearances or do anything else on its behalf.
Advertisement Last week, a judge dropped two of the five counts against Prince and his Paisely Park Entertainment, but said fraud accusations could proceed.
Revelations said Prince promised to promote the perfume when he signed a letter agreeing to the contract struck between the company and his recording studio, Universal. Universal is also named in the suit; it has denied the claims. Prince has yet to file an answer.SOURCE : [Vous devez être inscrit et connecté pour voir ce lien]
